What we do

Additions, Whole House Renovations, Kitchens, Decks, Roofs, Driveways, Bathrooms + More

Design

Chris has worked with many architects, interior decorators, kitchen designers, multiple suppliers & even engineers to make spaces work for the individual’s needs. Whether you  need a bearing wall removed for an open concept, adding a bathroom in a difficult space, designing a gourmet kitchen or an in-law suite, we have the experience.

PROJECT TIMING

My father was an engineer and I was a Social Work major. Sounds like two separate worlds… however, I think it has been a perfect match for what I do. I often call myself a “Logistical Engineer.” Creating a realistic schedule is critical. It requires thinking ahead and communicating with owners, architects, designers, suppliers, building departments and subtrades. Of course, we live in Northeast Ohio, so negotiating with mother nature is also important.

Budget

Most people have a limited budget. Remodeling can be very expensive with lots of places for cost overruns. With over thirty years of experience in the industry, “I have seen a few things”. Maximizing your value and understanding your options before your project starts is critical. I have taken classes through the National Association of Remodelers Industry (NARI) to become a “Universal Design Certified Professional” (UDCP).

Meeting Expectations

When I meet with prospective customers, we talk about what their expectations are of me/us. This is very important for us both to understand. I encourage prospective customers to talk to my current and past customers to see if I have met their standards.

Who We Are

Chris is the Owner and has been working with the same Amish crew for over twenty-five years. Chris is an Irish-Italian Christian who is one of thirteen children.  He and his wife Pat (who is a CPA) have three children and two wonderful grandsons. Chris is a US Army veteran. He also has a BS degree in Social Work. He worked as a lumber salesman for fifteen years before becoming a general contractor in 2000.   Most subtrades have worked with him at least five years.

What Have We Done?

Additions, whole house renovations, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, window replacement, whole house siding replacement, moving load-bearing walls, turn attics into living space, add basement egress windows, roof replacements, insulation renovations, driveways and much more…and, built an 9,000 square foot house for one of Cleveland’s most prominent CEO’s.
